Instead of pondering over what has already happened in the past, the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will look to start afresh this season with their opening match against ever consistent Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) at Dubai International stadium.

The Bangalore team will look to redeem itself under the inspiring captaincy of Virat Kohli, and their performance largely depend on how Kohli and their star player AB de Villiers perform in the middle. The team has roped in Aaron Finch this season who will provide much needed impetus to Kohli and his team.

On the other hand, all looks good for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), with a devastating opening pair of David Warner and Jonny Bairstow. The team’s middle-order also looks well settled with the likes of Wriddhiman Saha and Vijay Shankar complementing the top order. While much will depend on Bhuvneshwar Kumar to stop Bangalore from scoring big runs with his pinpoint accuracy and unplayable lengths.
