Remembering his days with the Yellow army, Watson took a trip down the memory lane since the time he started playing for CSK. The former Australian international has had a great time under the leadership of MS Dhoni. He was all praise for the skipper and coach Stephen Fleming for the way they have formulated the franchise.

His fondest memory goes back to his first game as a CSK player. Playing the very first match against Mumbai Indians in Mumbai, was a tough nut to crack. But, Watto certainly remembered the way DJ Bravo did his magic and got the side over the line. “That was an amazing initiation to such a great franchise”, Watson said.

Shane Watson had been an integral part of the franchise’s title victory in 2018. He steered his side single-handedly in the final even with a bleeding knee. CSK has always been a team that warmly brings in new players and gives them freedom. Same was the case with Watson, he came, he settled and he conquered.

Watson enjoys himself in seven-day quarantine in Dubai

The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) batsman earlier arrived in Dubai for the Indian Premier League (IPL) and is now under quarantine for seven days.

Watson took to Twitter and shares a video in which he talked about how he will be spending time in quarantine for the next seven days.

“My 7-Day room bound quarantine here in Dubai has just started. It’s so cool to be here to get into the preparation for another exciting season of @IPL for @ChennaiIPL. #SafetyFirst #WhistlePodu #superexcited,.” he tweeted.

The former Australian all-rounder is the first player from the CSK squad to reach Dubai for the upcoming edition of the IPL. The rest of the squad comprising MS Dhoni reached the Gulf nation on Friday.
