The much-awaited IPL has over the years become a platform for the young cricketers to showcase their skills and contend with the top well-reputed cricketers across the globe.

One such cricketer who will be seen playing in the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) is promising Yashasvi Jaiswal.

In the 3rd match of IPL 2020 between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Jaiswal was seen with folded hands in front of Mahendra Singh Dhoni during the toss.

The moment has been creating a lot of buzz on social media, and even IPL’s COO Hemang Amin took notice of the priceless moment between Jaiswal and Dhoni.

Amin took to Twitter, “Yatra Pratibha Avsara Prapnotihi“, which means ‘where talent meets opportunity’.

Another youngster who has already weaved his wand so far this season is Royal Challengers Bangalore’s (RCB) Devdutt Padikkal. The left-handed batsman played a blistering knock of 56 runs against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). His brilliant knock in the 3rd match of IPL 2020 was lauded by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Sourav Ganguly.

Ganguly took to Twitter to praise the 20-year-old knock against SRH. Even Padikkal’s fellow teammates AB de Villiers, Aaron Finch lauded the youngster for playing well under pressure.

Jaiswal was able to score just six runs in the match against CSK but the hope from him still remain high in this year’s season.

The 18-year-old who was picked up at IPL auction by Royals for 2.4 crores, has a long way to go and is a promising youngster especially after his stunning performance in the 2020 U-19 World Cup. He also became the youngest cricketer to score a List A double century.

Rajasthan Royals had defeated the Yellow Army by 16 runs in their opening match of the IPL 2020.
