IPL 2021: Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) Team Profile Overview, Stats, Auction Analysis, Season-Wise Performance, Full Schedule and Squad

SRH

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) had a magnificent run during the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). David Warner’s men emerged as the third-best side of the tournament where they reached the playoffs. However, they failed to make it to the finals after losing against Delhi Capitals in qualifier two.
SRH looks to have a decent side on paper this year as well. They did not make much changes in their squad ahead of IPL 2021 as they have tried to keep the same core group. The flamboyant Australian opener David Warner will continue leading the Hyderabad-based franchise in the 14th edition of the tournament as well.
Sunrisers Hyderabad: Team Overview
SRH always emerges as the underdog side where they somehow surprise everyone with their performance. With a brilliant think-tank in the form of Tom Moody, Trevor Bayliss, VVS Laxman, Brad Haddin and Muttiah Muralitharan, SRH is one of the most consistent sides in the history of IPL 2021.
Strengths
Sunrisers Hyderabad’s experience is one of their greatest assets while arriving for IPL 2021. They have great overseas batsmen like David Warner, Johnny Bairstow and Kane Williamson in their side. When it comes to bowling, SRH consists of stars such as Mohammad Nabi, Rashid Khan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jason Holder.
Weaknesses
The Sunrisers’ strength might become a weakness for them in the upcoming season. They can suffer from a problem of plenty in IPL 2021. SRH always gets in a tricky situation while selecting their four foreign players. Also, they have some great overseas batsmen, but their Indian batting core still remains a concern.
