India’s ace pacer Umesh Yadav was released by Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Wednesday as the teams announced their respective list of retained and released players ahead of the IPL 2021 mini-auction. Soon after his release from the red brigade, he unfollowed RCB on Twitter and started following Chennai Super Kings (CSK) Twitter handle.

Immediately following CSK after being dropped from RCB, shows his likely interest to feature in MS Dhoni’s company. Maybe, there could be some probable talks behind the doors or could be Yadav’s attempt to intimate the CSK’s selectors of his interest in the franchisee, who might trade him in the auction.

Yadav was bought by RCB for 4.2 crores during the IPL 2018 auctions and since then featured for the franchise for three years. Prior to this, he featured for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) from 2014-17. He even played for Delhi Capitals (DC, earlier Delhi Daredevils) from 2009-13.
