IPL 2021: Who’s going to win today’s match? – DC vs KKR, Match 25

Delhi Capitals (DC) go head-to-head today against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) today at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. DC suffered an agonizingly cruel one-run defeat in their previous match two days ago against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and would want to get over the same. KKR on the other hand, got their tournament back on track with an easy win over Punjab Kings (PBKS).
DC still look like a very strong side and both of their losses have come in close, last-over finishes. KKR on the other hand, still have a plethora of problems to address. However, in the previous match, there were a lot of promising signs as bowlers were used differently and to perfection at that, which helped in restricting their opponent to just 123. It can be expected that they would go with a similar bowling approach today as well.
Who will win today’s match: DC vs KKR

Despite the loss in the previous match, DC would still be favourites to win this encounter. Their side does not seem to have a lot of weaknesses. Ravichandran Ashwin‘s departure seemed like a big blow, but Ishant Sharma has filled in extremely well. The bowling attack was mostly good in the previous match, until an AB de Villiers special blew them away. Shimron Hetmyer‘s innings was a huge positive as well.
KKR too had a perfect game, but their previous matches are proof that it can all go wrong if they don’t execute well. KKR would want a similar bowling performance and an assured batting one like the knock by skipper Eoin Morgan, but against DC it won’t be easy and the Rishabh Pant-led side would fancy their chances of winning this one.
Prediction: DC to win
