The Unholy Union, comprising Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn, defended their WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill at Bash in Berlin. The Scottish Tag Team had defended the tag gold against various teams on NXT and Raw. However, it was time for their toughest challenge yet.

Unfortunately for the champions, Belair and Cargill reclaimed their lost gold in Berlin after executing an impressive double-team move and picking up the pinfall victory. A day after the show, Dawn posted a photo of herself holding one of the belts. She also posted a meme, which revealed that she felt terrible after the loss and wanted to get her hands back on the tag belts.

The Unholy Union vs. Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill – Title Match: WWE Bash in Berlin 2024 highlights

The Unholy Union had won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship in their home country of Scotland at Clash at the Castle. However, the previous champions were never pinned as it was a Triple Threat Tag Team match. Instead, Shayna Baszler of the Pure Fusion Collective took the pinfall.

Thus, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill had a valid argument for getting a rematch for the Women’s Tag Team Championship. After Clash at the Castle, the two superstars tried to go their own paths and fight for the Money in the Bank briefcase. However, when that did not come to fruition, they decided to re-enter the tag team division, and now they sit atop it.

AEW recently hosted its biggest event of the year at Wembley Stadium, London, titled ‘All In.’ The show featured the AEW Tag Team Champions, The Young Bucks, defending their tag gold in a three-way match against FTR and The Acclaimed.

After the match at All In, The Grizzled Young Veterans, comprising James Drake and Zack Gibson, walked down to the ring. They stared down the champions and continued to beat up FTR. After the show, Drake made a post on Instagram, and Isla Dawn left a four-word message in the comments of that post.

The Grizzled Young Veterans performed for NXT UK between 2018 and 2020 and were the inaugural NXT UK Tag Team Champions. They joined NXT in 2020 and stayed with WWE until 2023 when their contracts expired. In April 2024, the tag team went on to become All Elite and has been with the Jacksonville-based promotion since.
