Conor McGregor will make his anticipated UFC comeback at UFC 303 against Michael Chandler. As expected, the hype around the bout is unparalleled. However, it has also created a lot of doubts among supporters about McGregor’s condition. Ahead of the fight, many have given their predictions including Islam Makhachev who doesn’t think McGregor has a chance. 

Islam Makhachev himself is getting ready for his next title defense this week and recently interviewed with MMA Junkie. During the conversation, the Dagestani revealed that Chandler has had a better fight camp and will most probably beat McGregor at UFC 303. 

I don’t know who is going to win, but now it’s more focus, more training Chandler that’s why he can beat him. Maybe (Conor) do some camp in the club.

Makhachev’s comments regarding the club referred to McGregor’s latest viral video where the fighter was spotted in a club. Despite some criticism, Conor McGregor doesn’t seem to be very concerned about it. On the contrary, the fighter has shown incredible confidence ahead of the fight.

Furthermore, McGregor has kept a close eye on Islam Makhachev’s upcoming bout with Dustin Poirier. The ‘Notorious’ even went on an online rant about the Dagestani and his team. However, he also predicted a 1st round finish for Makhachev against Poirier. Moreover, Islam Makhachev is not the only one who has picked Chandler over McGregor at UFC 303.

Michael Chandler is a showman and knows how to get the crowd going. The fighter always likes to put on a show and one such example was his wild callout at WWE Raw. However, this has harmed the fighter as he prefers to entertain fans over winning bouts.

 This is exactly what UFC legend Anthony Smith revealed in his latest interview, while also giving his prediction for the fight. According to Smith, Chandler can easily win if he uses all his attributes against McGregor. 

If he just uses his best weapons, his wrestling mixed in with his fantastic speed and explosiveness. That guy goes straight to the top. But he gets in there and…he's fighting with himself. So, I'm leaning a little bit Chandler

Both McGregor and Chandler can trash talk and fans got a sneak of what can happen during their TUF showdown. Nevertheless, that was just a teaser, and given their personality, fans can expect a lot more during the build-up for their fight.
