Islam Makhachev just displayed a dominant performance against Drew Dober at UFC 259 and is now making a possible title run that might trouble even the best of the best in the division.

Islam was booked to face Rafael Dos Anjos but their fight couldn’t happen, now after his victory, he has called him out again saying, “Hey @RdosAnjosMMA if you don’t like all this hype around me, let’s finish our business in July.”

And now Rafael has replied to him saying, “If your brother @TeamKhabib fight me after I beat you let’s do it.”  And then Islam promised him that he won’t get past him and Khabib would enjoy his retirement in peace.

The tension between these two seems to grow at an enormous rate, and Islam is not going to be an easy fight and if RDA can beat him then maybe he can get back in the title picture.

After his fight with Dustin Poirier, RDA showed interest in fighting Conor McGregor, and says that his fighting style is a nightmare matchup for him. But Conor didn’t respond at his call-out and is focusing on his rematch against Dustin.

But now if RDA can get past Islam and Conor can beat Dustin then maybe these two can get that one fight that never happened.
