Israel Adesanya is keeping a close eye on the UFC 300 main event between Jamahal Hill and Alex Pereira. The former middleweight champion recently talked about all the fights in the fight card along with his teammate Dan Hooker on his Youtube channel.

Israel Adesanya gave a thorough explanation of how Jamahal Hill poses a threat to Pereira during the conversation with Hooker. According to Adesanya, Hill is fearless and will attack the Brazilian with all guns blazing. Izzy asserts that Hill is capable of knocking out Pereira, and he predicted that this would occur in the early rounds.

Adesanya has faced Pereira twice in the UFC. While the fighter struggled in the first fight, he was able to get a knockout in the second. Izzy is the only fighter who was able to stop ‘Poatan’ in UFC, everybody else has fallen short. Hill previously has spoken about taking advice from Izzy ahead of the fight with Pereira.

Poatan has established himself as one of the UFC’s most formidable competitors. The Brazilian can quickly floor his opponent with his vicious left hook. But ‘Sweet Dreams’ has demonstrated that he can compete with the top attackers. This will be Pereira’s first title defense at light heavyweight.

Jamahal Hill issues a warning to Alex Pereira that wrestling won’t work this time

Jamahal Hill is ready to gather another title win on his UFC resume. The fighter is making his comeback after a year recovering from a torn Achilles injury. However, the fighter is not scared and has already figured out everything about Pereira.

During a recent interview with UFC, the fighter talked about his game plan and mentioned that Pereira can’t take him down and dominate. 

This dude don’t have that f****** option. He don’t have that option of ‘I’m gonna see if I can take him down.’ He grabs me, he’s f****** done! He grabs me, he’s done. I’m not Jan [Blachowicz]. I’m not Jiri. I’m not one of these dudes that got you on the ground and laid on you. When I get you down, I get on top of you, I f*** you up, period.

According to Hill, he has trained and sparred with a lot of strikers who were good on the ground and knew how to defend himself. The fighter has fully recovered from his injury and has felt sharp throughout the fight camp. The UFC main event has high expectations from fight fans and Hill and Pereira are ready to deliver that.
