Israel Adesanya says Jon Jones is next, trolls him saying “you know Jon about to get this work”

After putting a spectacular show at UFC 253, Israel Adesanya has set his eyes on former champ Jon Jones, saying he needs to "shut the f*ck up"

Israel Adesanya put on his masterclass skills to display when he defeated Paulo Costa at UFC 253. Not just Costa, Adesanya has defended his belt twice this year already, first coming against Yoel Romero earlier this year. Adesanya’s performance at the main event was clinical, rather outstanding as it took him only two rounds to silence the haters who said he would be no match against the Brazilian.

Former Light Heavyweight champ Jon Jones was not impressed by “The Last Stylebender’s” performance. In fact, there has been some bad blood boiling between the two for months over several issues.

Bad blood boiling between Adesanya and Jones-

Recently, Jones reacted to Adesanya’s comments and tweeted, “I would literally tear one of your arms off”

Adesanya took to Twitter and interviews to respond the former champ. Both have been yapping since UFC 253 got over. In an interview with Ariel Helwani, Israel Adesanya had just one thing to say. “Jon Jones shut the f*ck up. When I’m done with Costa memes, you know Jon bout to get this work.”

It looks like Adesanya is trying to gain Jones‘ attention. Whether a fight would take place between the two, the question for now remains unanswered. However, UFC President Dana White believes Adesanya showed that he is ready to face Jones.

Adesanya also claimed that he would love to fight again this year, despite having two fights this year already. “I’m fresh bro, I ain’t fu*king around.” Adesanya also talked about wanting to fight Jared Cannonier next if he beats Robert Whittaker. Whittaker vs Cannonier is scheduled for UFC 254.

For now, Adesanya is the “most talked man in the sport” with 20 wins and 0 losses to his name. With his 100th overall win, “The Last Stylebender” has all the time to enjoy.
