Max Verstappen has proved to be in a league of his own this year and has put a significant distance between himself and the rest of the chasing pack.

Moreover, Verstappen while dwelling further on the hostile atmosphere at Monza said, “When it happens, of course, everyone speaks to me about it, with the booing and stuff. But at the end of the day, I’m here to try and win the race which is done.”

Some people, of course, they can’t appreciate that but that’s of course because they’re very passionate fans of a different team. And this is what it is. It’s not going to spoil my day. I’m just enjoying the moment.”

Max Verstappen understands that some people are ardent supporters of their respective teams, and feels booing is just another part of the sport that F1 drivers have to deal with regularly.

After Monza, there are 6 races left in the season and the Dutchman is well on course to win his second World championship and break the record of most wins in a season.

While the Championship is looking like a formality, will Verstappen be able to equal or go past Sebastian Vettel and Michael Schumacher’s record of winning 13 races in a season?
