Rafael Nadal claimed his 13th French Open title

Daria Kasatkina revealed that she was moved by the fact that Rafael Nadal was emotional after winning his 13th French Open title taking his tally to 20, equal with Federer. She praised the Spaniard’s dedication to the game and said that his reaction after winning the French Open showed his love for the sport. “It’s like he’s winning 13 Roland Garros, 20 Grand Slams, and it still means so much to him and this is the real love for the sport, I think,” Kasatkina said.

Rafael Nadal was visibly a bit emotional while he was lifting the Roland Garros title. There were several doubts before the tournament of whether the King of Clay would triumph once again in Paris. The conditions were tougher, cooler and the new Wilson balls were lighter and offered lower bounce than usual. Inspite of these conditions, the Spaniard emerged victorious yet again, silencing his critics.

Going by her remarks on Nadal, Daria Kasatkina seems to appear as huge fan of the Spaniard. She is currently playing at the WTA Ostrava Open where she defeated the 6th seed, Elena Rybakina in Round 1 and will face Jennifer Brady in Round 2.
