Paul O’Neill said that he got this experience only because he was a part of the New York Yankees at the time. “The show was a great one, and it had bits and pieces around the Yankees. I was asked to do the show- I didn’t really know much about it. Then obviously later I became a huge fan of the show when I saw the episode,” said Paul.

He said he remembered getting a car and going to the studio and meeting Kramer, who he did the episode with. He remembers thinking “Is this guy in character or is this the way he really acts?” eliciting a laugh from Eisen. Eisen went on to commend his acting on Seinfeld, saying that he did a much better job than many of his teammates. O’Neill said that it left great memories for him and that is how he remembers some of him games.
