Find Out: Who are the two Italian teenagers in the top 100 of the new ATP ranking

Italian teenagers Lorenzo Musetti and Jannik Sinner will be in the top hundred of new ATP Rankings which are due on Monday, in the coming week. Italian Tennis looks to be in good hands as both the nineteen year old’s have given a good account of themselves on the ATP Tour this week.

Apart from these two, there are of course other Italian’s in the top hundred, who are older than them. Let’s take a look at all the Italians who are in the top 100 of the ATP Rankings.

Musetti who was playing in the challengers before this, has set the Acapulco Open 2021 on fire. Musetti who is currently ranked no.120 in the world, had to play the Qualifiers to reach the main draw of the Open. In the main draw, he faced third seed Diego Schwartzman in the first round.

A three set thriller that Musetti won. In the second round, Musetti overcame the hard hitting American Frances Tiafoe, in three sets. The Quarterfinals saw him get the better of fifth seed Grigor Dimitrov 6-4 7-6. After the match, Musetti said that the encounter against Dimitrov was his best win till date.

The other Italian teenager Jannik Sinner had announced himself by winning the Sofia Open last year, and the Adelaide International this year. In the Dubai Open Sinner reached the Quarterfinals of the Dubai Open, where he was defeated by Aslan Karatsev 6-7 6-2 6-3.
