Boris Becker was catapulted in the public eye at the age of 17 when he became the youngest Wimbledon Men’s Singles champion. Following this, he remained successful for years. Even so, he has faced a lot of backlashes, either due to his financial escapades or his disputes with other players.
Recently, Becker referred to the impact that July 7, 1985, had on his life and called to it as his “second birthday.” This is the day when an unseeded Boris became the Wimbledon champ. He stated that this led to his entire life being covered by the media. “That unsettles many,” he added.
Moreover, to fight back this regurgitation, Becker is hell bent “to talk about how I think, how I feel and where I come from.”
“I am not always treated fairly and correctly,” claims Becker

The 53-year-old is from Leimen in Baden-Württemberg. He met 22-time Grand Slam champion and fellow compatriot, Steffi Graf at the tennis performance center. “The best girl was Steffi Graf. She’s the best player of all time,” he declared.
Reflecting on the amount of reports that have circled almost every aspect of his life, Becker added, “I thought it would stop at some point. I’m surprised that at 53, I’m still so interesting. But stories can be sold with my name.”
Inspite of his success, countless reports have encircled aspects such as divorces, tax evasion, or insolvency proceedings of Becker’s life. Citing this, the German added, “I accept that everyone has an opinion about me. But it’s strange that strangers judge me. I am not always treated fairly and correctly in terms of content.”
Further, Becker expressed his concern about his taxing relationship with the media. “It’s about character assassination, about damaging my name. At some point I will become a non-public person. I’ll pull the plug,” he concluded.
