After the successful Dynasty pay-per-view, AEW has once again shocked the world. The renowned faction of the company, The Elite, has turned their back on their boss, Tony Khan. In the closing moments of Dynamite this week, the returning Jack Perry delivered a wicked punch to the founder of the promotion. Following the events, the members of the faction broke their silence with a vicious message.
The Elite, alongside Jack Perry, were captured backstage. They took the opportunity to address the fans as Perry sent a bold message to Tony Khan. He stated that eight months of his career were destroyed before coming back at Dynasty all thanks to the promotion’s founder. Therefore, Khan deserved what was coming at him. Besides, The Young Bucks also explained their actions by revealing they did what had to be done in order to make AEW a better place.

You took eight months of my career…you just got what was coming to you.
Jack Perry to Tony Khan
It all went down in the main event segment of Dynamite. First, Perry decided to take down Khan by ambushing him right in the gut with a microphone. Young Bucks and Kazuchika Okada made their way to the ring. What felt like an attempt to save the boss quickly turned into one of the craziest betrayals in AEW history. The Bucks also delivered a ruthless piledriver to put an end to the attack.
The medical team rushed to the ring as Khan was lying motionless. There was a sudden change in the atmosphere inside the Daily’s Palace. Needless to say, this attack has certainly changed the trajectory of the promotion. Therefore, it makes it exciting to see what’s next in this unexpected curveball thrown at the fans.
Tony Khan’s father makes first appearance on AEW Dynamite
Another surprise the fans saw on Dynamite was the appearance of Shahid Khan on AEW TV. It was the first time the billionaire appeared on the live programming. In order to check on his son, Shahid brought medical staff along with a bunch of referees after AEW went off air.

After the Elite walked out of the ring, Shahid made his way to the ring. The look on his face said it all, as he was terrified to see his son laid out. He asked the medical staff about Tony Khan’s condition. Although there is no update on the condition of AEW’s founder at the moment, it can be said that things do not look good for the promotion right now.
Shahid Khan is the richest man of Pakistani origin. He is the owner of the company Flex-N-Gate, the English Premier League club Fulham, and the NFL team Jacksonville Jaguars. As a matter of fact, media outlets have expressed concern about Tony’s condition ahead of the NFL Draft, which takes place today.
