Two weeks ahead of his decade-in-the-making clash with CM Punk on Raw’s Netflix debut, Seth Rollins will have a sit-down interview with Jackie Redmond on this week’s Raw. Notifying fans of the same, she took to X. Redmond said it’d get real for those watching her cross-question Seth. Even though it’s pre-taped, WWE may incorporate some real-life elements that’d be pivotal in making it must-see.

Jackie did a similar interview with Punk a couple of weeks ago. Back then, The Best in the World shared his history with Rollins that dates back to a time when the latter was merely 16. He asked Punk if he’d train him for free. The former AEW star claimed that he doesn’t hate Seth at all. In fact, Punk lauded The Visionary for filling in his shoes while he was away from WWE.

However, now that the starter’s back, the second-string has to sit out on the bench, asserted the Chicagoan. The following week on Raw, the trade of verbal blows continued to grapple these two. At first, Punk mocked Rollins’ dressing sense, comparing him to the Purple Pieman from Porcupine Peak.

The Second City Saint explained that Seth’s been mad at him because even after Punk left WWE, the fans kept hijacking some of Rollins’ segments with ‘CM Punk chants.’ Having heard enough of the 46-year-old, The Architect went personal on his rival, saying he wouldn’t have that many WrestleMania main events in his entire career that Seth’s had already.

Shortly after that, they made a beeline for each other and started brawling. Despite a number of security personnel jockeying to quell the onslaught, Punk and Rollins didn’t stop. Somehow, they were separated.

WWE planning CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns for WrestleMania 41

Ever since returning to WWE, CM Punk has timely reminded everyone that he’s actively seeking to close out a WrestleMania. Having said that, there’s a great chance that it’ll finally happen next year.

Recently, a report from Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful revealed that WWE is planning to have The Second City Saint face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 41. That wasn’t long discussed but has picked up steam of late in backstage circles.

Since then, the fans are speculating that the impending favor that Paul Heyman owes to Punk will lead to him crossing paths with Reigns. They formed an unlikely alliance last month inside WarGames at Survivor Series. A clip from the PLE where The OTC blocked Punk’s entry into the match has over 126 million views on Instagram. That must’ve prompted a change.
