In today’s setting, where remotely anything and everything gets picked up by social media, an instance can be traced back from last week’s SmackDown as well. As is evident by the following picture, a number of fans in the front row had their eyes on Jade Cargill, whose back was turned on them. It has gone viral for obvious reasons.

Now, it appears like even Cargill is unfazed, more so, she doesn’t have any problems, stated the 32-year-old while quoting a reply on X. This week on SmackDown, the Texas Smoke owner confronted reigning WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton. The latter was oozing confidence after denying Charlotte Flair a fifteenth world title reign at WrestleMania 41. But little did she know that a storm was coming.

Stratton exchanged some words with Cargill, and the two women eventually got themselves booked in a non-title match. Unfortunately, it didn’t reach a conclusion as Naomi appeared during the closing moments and started unloading on the former AEW star. The Queen of Glow continued her assault on the Floridian until Stratton made her way back. However, by that point, the match had already been called off.

The Center of the Universe got blindsided by a returning Nia Jax, who was last seen at the Elimination Chamber. The Irresistible Force wiped out the former US gymnast and raised the women’s title up high. It’s clear that Jax wants to regain her lost glory, but also in that hunt is Cargill, who may temporarily side with Stratton to quell a potential onslaught from Naomi and Jax.

How did Jade Cargill fare in her WrestleMania singles debut?

Last weekend, Jade Cargill competed in front of over 60,000 fans at WrestleMania 41. It was undoubtedly the biggest night of her professional career. She beat Naomi in an equally contested matchup that was brewing for months. Their singles match in Sin City was a payoff to the entire mystery attacker storyline that once entangled the SmackDown women’s division.

Cargill’s parking lot ambush in November 2024 sidelined her for a while. In the meantime, The Glow Queen stepped up to the occasion and rendered her services to Bianca Belair, who was one-half of the women’s tag team champs back then. As WWE entered the WrestleMania season, the culprit was finally unmasked – Naomi.

Consequently, Belair severed her ties with the real-life Trinity Fatu for plotting against Cargill. Since that moment, the Anoa’i clan wrestler has gone rogue. Even though she went down to The Storm when it mattered the most at WrestleMania, Naomi is showing no signs of slowing down.

There could be a rematch in the cards between the two. However, a stipulation would suffice. With Backlash right around the corner, the pro wrestling giant might book these women to throw down at each other once again.

Why the screen kept blacking out during Jade Cargill’s SmackDown match?

Even though Jade Cargill and Tiffany Stratton couldn’t go the distance with their match on SmackDown, they put on a solid show. However, those watching live experienced their feed getting blacked out during the showdown. At first, some suspected that there might’ve been some technical glitches.

But, in hindsight, there was more than what met the eye. WWE purposely kept dropping the video to allow Stratton to adjust her top, who experienced the wardrobe malfunction after taking a super-plex from the former AEW TBS Champion.

That being said, the former women’s tag team champion is looking ahead at a subsequent singles run in WWE. She’s had only a handful of one-on-one matches since signing with the company in September 2023. Cargill has yet to cross paths with the likes of Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, and more.
