After a difficult 12 months for Tyrese Haliburton in terms of his professional career, things have been a lot better for him in his personal life. He officially tied the knot with Jade Jones at an Indianapolis courthouse. They got engaged last year, and a formal wedding ceremony is planned to take place in August.

The newly married couple met during their time in college. Both of them were students at Iowa State University. They have been together for over seven years now, and Haliburton is finally a married man.

Haliburton and Jones broke the news that they are officially married and shared photos from their courthouse wedding.

The college sweethearts share a beautiful relationship with each other and have done a good job in keeping their relationship as private as possible. While there is not much information about Jade Jones, as she has kept life private, she does post a lot of photos with Haliburton on her Instagram. Jones has stood by his side and seen him struggle during his initial days in Sacramento and turn into a superstar in Indiana.

The two grabbed the headlines in July last year when they got engaged. They became double date partners with Caitlin Clark and her boyfriend, Connor McCaffery.

Tragedy struck when Jones threw a Bachelorette Party at St. Barts for her closest friends last month. It was reported that her friend, Makenzi Kern, passed away during the event. It was an unfortunate event in their lives, but it looks like Jones has started to move on.

Haliburton played college basketball for Iowa State before getting drafted into the NBA by the Sacramento Kings in 2020. Meanwhile, Jones was his classmate and a cheerleader at Iowa State. She wore a short white dress with matching mesh heels, while the NBA star kept his outfit more casual with a black T-shirt and black pants.

The photos of their courthouse wedding caught a lot of attention and got social media buzzing.

Fans flooded social media congratulating the newly married couple. However, some were shocked and found it hilarious that Haliburton turned up for his wedding in such a casual outfit.

The NBA world is eagerly waiting for Tyrese Haliburton to return to court for the upcoming season. The two-time All-Star led the Indiana Pacers to the NBA Finals last year. Unfortunately, he tore his Achilles Tendon in Game 7 of the Finals. He revealed that he is back to playing five-on-five basketball and is almost back to his physical best.

During the Fanatics Fest 2026, Haliburton spoke about his recovery process over the last 13 months.

It’s been a long like 13 months now we’re going on. Rehab’s been long, but I feel great now. I’m playing 5 on 5, doing everything. Just waiting for the season to get here at this point. I miss the game. I hope the games misses me a little bit. I miss playing. I miss New York. I love playing in New York. Just miss getting back, it’s going to be a fun year.

The Pacers will be a force to reckon with next season with Haliburton back in the lineup. They have made some solid additions to their squad and will be a strong contender in the Eastern Conference next year.
