Dillon Danis does not approve of the upcoming fight between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson. The matchup was recently sanctioned as a pro-fight. This was a big blow to all the critics who claimed that this was going to be a fake fight. However, Dillon Danis is not done with the subject and took to X where he wrote something interesting.
Dillon Danis recently went on X to comment on the Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson matchup one more time. Danis wrote that even if Paul beat Tyson in the pro fight, it meant nothing because Tyson is old.
He's 60, walks with a cane when he's not ina wheelchair. In reality, you beating him means nothing. Fight someone your age again, oh yeah, I forgot. You'll lose, lol.Dillon Danis on X
This was in response to Jake Paul mocking all the previous criticisms of an exhibition fight. Initially, there were talks of both fighters wearing headgear when they faced each other in the ring this July. The fight will be sanctioned by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations.
Tyson and Paul will fight eight two-minute rounds and each fighter will walk in the ring with 14-ounce gloves. They will fight at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Netflix will air the fight live as a part of its first-ever combat sports venture.
Michael Bisping says Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson is ‘elderly abuse’
Everybody in the fight community has something to say about the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson matchup. While some people are excited to see the legend fight in the ring, others are disappointed that Tyson’s legacy is on the line. Some believe Paul will beat Tyson while others think Mike Tyson still has a chance at 58 to knock Jake Paul out.
Michael Bisping had a similar take about the oncoming fight this July. He discussed it on his Believe You Me podcast.
If Jake Paul loses, listen, it’s Mike Tyson, but still come on. He’s 58-years-old but stop it [if you lose] never show your face again. Then if Jake Paul knocks out a 58-year-old man that’s called elderly abuse. You can’t win here. Other than a lot of money.Michael Bisping on his Believe You Me podcast
Bisping predicts that Tyson will get tired by the third round of the fight. But he also said that Paul leaves “tremendously massive openings” that a master like Tyson can capitalize on. This is going to be an intense matchup. People cannot wait to see what happens this July at the AT&T Stadium in Texas.
