Jamal Murray posterized LeBron James to win the series 4-1.

Jamal Murray showed no mercy on LeBron James as he sent the superstar home with a monstrous dunk on Monday. The Denver Nuggets guard gave the Los Angeles Lakers flashbacks of Game 2 as he dominantly closed out the series 4-1 at home.

The Lakers thought they had a chance after the win in Game 4, but the reigning champions knew better. Despite the close battle in the ending moments, the Denver Nuggets‘ Jamal Murray came in strong and posterized the Los Angeles Lakers‘ main man LeBron James. To add spice to the situation the star also showed off his move on camera to taunt the Lakers fans.

James and the Lakers tried their best to stay in the competition but fell short in front of ‘Clutch Murray’. While he prepared the Lakers for the loss with the dunk, the star also hit the game-winner to advance further in the competition.

On the other hand, another season has ended for the 39-year-old Lakers star. James was everywhere on the floor as he almost scored a 30-point triple-double. But the Nuggets were just the better team to send Team LA to Cancun. Murray was an essential part of the mix as he was the Denver team’s leading scorer with the most points in the final minutes.

Despite managing to avoid a sweep, the Lakers have ended their playoff journey in the first round. The Nuggets now will face the Minnesota Timberwolves in the Western Conference semifinals.
