James Harden returned to the Houston Rockets as they played San Antonio Spurs in their third pre-season game. Seems like all the trade controversy has led up to Harden as Twitter slams the superstar as Kendrick Perkins. Harden evidently gained weight. It is so evident that the fanatics did not expect to see a Kendrick Perkins look-alike.  

Harden looked like a beast playing in the playoffs. But it certainly feels like the Rocket’s star has caught up the off-season fire. Although Harden scored 15 points in the pre-season game, his movement was clearly affected. As many know Harden from his scoring ability majorly, his shooting from downtown certainly took a toll as he scored only two 3-pointers.

Twitterers call out Hoston Rockets humorously saying they have signed Kendrick Perkins again. The bashing is actually endless. It appears as if Harden had made up his mind to not return at all until the Rockets traded him. So, he decided to be a little laid back about his fitness.

But let’s not doubt one of the top players in the league. If anyone can drop 30 points while gaining 30 pounds, that’s probably Harden. However, it is quite possible that this is just an unflattering angle and nothing else. The Rockets’ fans can only hope that only his weight has changed and nothing else. 

Let’s hope the situation gets better for Harden. However, as far as his trade is concerned Rockets have asked for 3-first NBA Draft picks and Ben Simmons in place of James Harden to the Philadelphia 76ers. There has been no action after that. But the last thing Harden would want after such a devastating and controversial off-season, would be not able to score in the same way.
