James Harden welcoming Arizona State coach to the Valley has NBA fans hitting back: “Think he slick.”
Los Angeles Clippers superstar James Harden played two seasons at Arizona State before entering the NBA Draft.

Los Angeles Clippers star James Harden and new Arizona State HC Molly Miller
James Harden has built a reputation as one of the best one-on-one players in league history. This season though, he has upped his game and is helping the Los Angeles Clippers’ charge up the playoff ladder. Along with that, he has also rejuvenated his personal life, from being a party animal to a mature investor.
He once was known for his outlandish ways when he used to give bags of cash as birthday gifts. Along with that, his drinking habits were one of the reasons teams did not want to keep him around. Now though, the situation is different.
At age thirty-five, the superstar seems to have gone through a sea change. He now looks at ways to build his investment portfolio, knowing he does not have many years left in the NBA. The high NBA salaries will vanish, hence he has also scaled back on his partying ways.
The superstar has come a long way since starring from Arizona State. Two years in college led James Harden to become the No. 3 overall pick in 2009. Hence, one would think he has a decent idea about Phoenix, Arizona, but a recent post on X brought up some doubts.

This was his reaction to a post by his alma mater welcoming Molly Miller as the new head coach of their women’s basketball team. Miller comes in after leading Grand Canyon University to their first NCAA March Madness tournament in more than a decade. That is what fans found odd.
James Harden’s post for Molly Miller has fans raising questions
Grand Canyon University is in Phoenix, Arizona, less than eighteen miles from Arizona State. Fans could not believe that James Harden, who spent two years there was not aware that Molly Miller was already in the Valley over the past five years.
They questioned his acumen considering both universities were within a 30-minute drive of each other. If he was aware and still wrote this post, fans believe he was trying to be cute with Molly Miller. They took to social media to call out the former league MVP. Check out examples of those comments below.

Some gave him a free pass considering the Los Angeles Clippers star was hyping up his own alma mater. However, fans felt he could have written something else instead of fumbling it. On top of that, they believe he was swayed by her stunning looks even though the new head coach is married.
On top of that, the superstar is in a relationship with fashion designer Paije Speights. She has been posting about their relationship on social media, indicating the two have been going strong for some time.
James Harden’s Clippers are surging up playoff ladder
This post from James Harden was before the Los Angeles Clippers went up against the Oklahoma City Thunder. That game did not go as planned even though Harden and his teammates fought until the end. If not for this close two-point loss though, they could have extended their winning streak.
After the All-Star break, they went through a horrible stretch of games, losing six out of seven games. They then offset that with a stellar 8-1 record to help them climb back up the standings. Today’s loss will sting, considering they were close to upsetting the league’s best team.
But it should give the team some hope. They have been playing extremely well, and all their players are contributing. If they can keep this level of performance up and they manage to stay healthy, the Clippers could become the West’s dark horse entering the playoffs.
