The UFC Light Heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz is all set to make his second appearance inside the Octagon this year against the Brazilian mixed martial artist and number one Light Heavyweight ranked fighter Glover Teixeira.

Blachowicz won the vacant Light Heavyweight title by defeating Dominick Reyes and after that, he did the unbelievable task by defending it against Israel Adesanya at UFC 259. ‘The Polish Powerhouse’ gave Adesanya the first defeat of his MMA career and marked the rise of his era in the division.

Glover Teixeira got his title shot by his recent dominating performance in the division. He is on a five-fight win streak with his latest win coming against one more former title challenger Thiago Santos at UFC on ESPN: Teixeira vs Santos.

He holds the record for the most number of submission wins and most finishes in the Light Heavyweight division. Despite his old age, he is one of the most dangerous fighters on the ground and Jan Blachowicz needs to be careful of him.

The newly crowned UFC Heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou is finding an opponent for himself after UFC is not being able to negotiate the contract with Jon Jones because of him asking for a higher amount of payday.

And due to this, the Light Heavyweight champion wants to capitalize on this opportunity. In one of his latest interviews, Jan Blachowicz said that he plans to move to the Heavyweight division towards the end of his MMA career and he is also open to face Ngannou.

This is going to be a really brave move but Blachowicz showed what he is made of by defeating Israel Adesanya. So will Glover Teixeira be able to end his dream and win the UFC title in his last attempt because this surely is his last chance?
