The Rolex Monte Carlo Masters’ semi-final matches have begun with four top stars battling it out for the spot in the finals. The first match of the semi-finals is ongoing, between Jannik Sinner and Stefanos Tsitsipas. While Sinner has been in sublime form throughout the year, Tsitsipas has recently gained immense momentum as the clay season has begun progressing.
As a sign of this dominance, the Greek broke Sinner early and continued to hold until he won the first set. However, the World No.2 did not go down without a fight and fought back with some jaw-dropping shots in the second set.
One of those shots was seen towards the end of the second set, as Sinner hit a magnificent backhand to stun Stefanos Tsitsipas. The Greek managed to put Sinner on the back foot at the start of the point, but the Italian smartly maneuvered the ball down the line to seal an incredible point.
The crowd stood up to applaud the Italian as he started the game with a huge point. This was not the only mind-boggling shot that Sinner played in this match, with the crowd being entertained by plenty more stunners.

The first semi-final match between Jannik Sinner and Tsitsipas saw a lot of incredible shots played. Both the players stretched their limits to play some magnificent shots that are sure to make the highlights.
Even though Sinner had a formidable lead in the first set, Tsitsipas also played some amazing shots to try to save his place in the match. Just when the Italian was about to take control of the second set, Tsitsipas pulled out some mind-blowing shots.
During an intense rally, the Greek hit an insane backhand to win the point. The shot was good enough that even his opponent was left applauding for him. However, Sinner managed to win the second set, forcing the Greek into a decider.
From a set down, the World No.2 managed to keep his cool and play his usual game to play the third set. While Tsitsipas hopes to make it to another final in Monte Carlo, Sinner is yet to reach one and would hope to do so.
