Jannik Sinner delivered another commanding performance at the French Open, defeating Jiri Lehecka in straight sets. The Italian dominated the match from start to finish, needing only 94 minutes to seal the win and continue his strong form in Paris.
Beyond his tennis, Sinner also drew laughs during a rally when he was caught off guard at the net. After missing a quick exchange, he struck a light-hearted pose that fans jokingly compared to a ballerina, adding a moment of humor to the intense match.

The win extended Sinner’s Grand Slam winning streak to 17 matches. He maintained his perfect record in sets during this tournament and later dedicated the victory to his coach, Simone Vagnozzi, making it a meaningful moment in his campaign.
With this streak, Sinner now finds himself in elite company. Only Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, and Rafael Nadal have posted longer Grand Slam runs in the 21st century. His consistency, focus, and all-court ability continue to position him as one of the sport’s top contenders.
Jannik Sinner’s performance called a ‘Crime Scene’
Top seed Jannik Sinner delivered a powerful statement on Saturday at Roland Garros with a commanding win over Jiri Lehecka. The world No. 1 needed just 94 minutes to reach the fourth round, dominating the match 6-0, 6-1, 6-2. His performance was so one-sided that tennis commentator Mark Petchey jokingly described the court as a “crime scene.” Petchey said on TV:
They are going to have to put some caution tape around the court because this has been a crime scene.

Sinner was nearly untouchable on serve, losing only nine points throughout the match, as reported by Infosys Stats. He kept his perfect set record intact and extended his Grand Slam winning streak to 17 matches. The Italian looked in full control from start to finish.

With this win, Sinner improved to 15-1 for the season and continues to build momentum at the clay-court major. He will face the 17th seed, Andrey Rublev, next in Paris. Sinner leads their head-to-head series 6-3, giving him a psychological edge.
Rublev reached the fourth round after Arthur Fils withdrew due to injury, handing him a walkover. As Sinner eyes a deeper run, his dominance so far signals that he remains a top contender for the Roland Garros title.
Jannik Sinner continues two major streaks at Roland Garros
World No.1 Jannik Sinner continued his outstanding run in Grand Slam tournaments with a commanding win over Jiri Lehecka in the third round of Roland Garros. The world No. 1 dropped just three games in a 6-0, 6-1, 6-2 victory on Court Suzanne-Lenglen.

Sinner needed only 94 minutes to defeat the world No. 34, firing 31 winners and making just nine unforced errors. His dominant performance extended his unbeaten streak at Grand Slams to 17 matches.
Since losing to Daniil Medvedev at Wimbledon last year, Sinner has gone on to win the 2024 US Open and the 2025 Australian Open. In terms of consecutive Grand Slam wins in the 21st century, only Djokovic, Federer, and Nadal have longer runs.
Sinner has now reached the second week at every major since Wimbledon 2023. He remains the only male player to do so in that span. His last early exit came at Roland Garros in 2023, when he lost to Daniel Altmaier in the second round.
