Jannik Sinner and Anna Kalinskaya decided to keep their relationship quiet until May this year. The pair have since publicly supported each other’s careers. Recently, Sinner shared an insight about his relationship with his girlfriend, reflecting that there have not been any personal changes since being together.
Sinner has experienced a great surge in his career this season, winning his maiden Grand Slam at the Australian Open and consolidating it with his US Open victory in September. He also clinched three Masters 1000 titles in Miami, Cincinnati and Shanghai. Without a doubt, Kalinskaya has been a steady source of support to the Italian star, both on and off the court.
Kalinskaya memorably showed up during Sinner’s triumph at the US Open. The couple shared a heartwarming kiss after the Italian beat Taylor Fritz in a straight set. She was also by his side after he lost to Carlos Alcaraz in the China Open final.
On the other hand, Sinner has returned the favor, supporting her career. He recently surprised Anna Kalinskaya’s brother Nikolay, who is a big fan of Steph Curry, with a signed shirt from the NBA superstar. Nevertheless, in a recent interview, the 23-year-old revealed that he cannot afford to change despite his girlfriend’s influence in his life.
Sinner has won seven titles this season and is currently seeking for another title at the ATP Finals in Turin. Last year, he finished as runners-up in the event and now has the experience to win it when the event gets underway on November 10.
Tennis legend puts Jannik Sinner as big favorite ahead of Carlos Alcaraz at the ATP Finals
Jannik Sinner will return to the court at the ATP Finals in Turin for the first time since competing at the Six Kings Slam in Riyadh. The Italian withdrew from the Paris Masters due to a virus. He and Carlos Alcaraz are currently the favorites to win the ATP Finals.
However, tennis legend Mats Wilander believes Sinner is the big favorite heading into the tournament. He revealed that the Italian’s form gives him an edge over Alcaraz.
Sinner will open his campaign against Alex de Minaur in the Ille Natase Group, while Alcaraz takes on Casper Ruud in the John Newcombe group. Meanwhile, Alcaraz’s recent shocking loss against Ugo Humbert in Paris was a serious concern to Wilander.
