Jannik Sinner is regarded as one of the most promising teenagers on tour. The Italian claimed his maiden ATP title last season, and also reached the quarterfinals of the French Open 2020, where he lost to Rafael Nadal. He has an enormous amount of potential, and is getter better with every match he plays.

Jannik Sinner has always spoken highly of Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer. The Italian admires the two great champions, and has also practiced with Rafael Nadal in the past. The Spaniard had chosen Sinner as his hitting partner in Melbourne, and as a result, he has gained invaluable experience.

Jannik Sinner last played at the Madrid Open 2021, where he suffered a loss in the second rossund to Alexei Popyrin in straight sets. However, he did manage to reach the semifinals of the Barcelona Open 2021, where he lost to the Greek, Stefanos Tsitsipas. He has made huge progress this year, as he also made it to the finals of the Miami Open 2021.

Jannik Sinner revealed how he spends his free time, which involved talking about tennis. “I wake up and I play tennis, I watch tennis, I like talking about tennis. With my coach at dinner I speak about tennis at 90%,” said the Italian.

The teenager will now compete at his home tournament in Rome, where he opens his campaign against the Frenchman, Ugo Humbert in the first round. If he wins the first round, a clash against Rafael Nadal awaits in the second round.
