Jannik Sinner ended the 2025 season on a high note. He took home the ATP Finals by defeating his arch-rival, Carlos Alcaraz, improving his winning streak on indoor hardcourts to 31 matches.

The win also helped him improve his head-to-head record over the six-time Grand Slam champion to 6-10. Watching the final from the stands of Pala Alpitour was model Laila Hasanovic, whom Sinner is dating at present.

Sinner and Hasanovic were recently spotted in Copenhagen, enjoying a cozy getaway. As per Danish outlet Ekstra Bladet, Sinner and Hasanovic went together to the Christmas market at Kongens Nytorv.

Sinner confirmed that he is dating Hasanovic after defeating Learner Tien in the Vienna Open final. Hasanovic was first spotted in Sinner’s box during the French Open, and the Italian ace also had Hasanovic’s picture on his phone lock screen. Hasanovic once slammed reports that linked her to Holger Rune.

Sinner also bumped into Alexander Zverev on a plane while heading to the Maldives. Many tennis players, including Women’s World No.1 Aryna Sabalenka and Daniil Medvedev, have made the Maldives their vacation spot. Sinner defeated Zverev four times this year, including in the finals of the Australian Open and Vienna Open.

Boris Becker lauds Jannik Sinner’s Grand Slam final streak

Jannik Sinner has played five consecutive Grand Slam finals. Last year, he won his second Major title by breezing past home favorite Taylor Fritz at the US Open. This year, he defeated Alexander Zverev and Carlos Alcaraz in the Australian Open and Wimbledon finals.

Alcaraz denied him his first French Open title. He later stopped him from defending his US Open title. Boris Becker, during his interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, lauded the four-time Grand Slam champion for his incredible run in Majors.

I think the fact that Sinner reached the final of all four Slams has gone a bit under the radar. It’s an incredible achievement. He lost Paris and New York, but reaching the final of four consecutive majors — actually five, if we count the US Open last year — is something extraordinary, and it’s not talked about enough.

Since Sinner and Alcaraz have split the last eight Majors, this is why the tennis world has been discussing a lot about who will break their dominance. Becker is not ready to write off three-time Grand Slam finalist Zverev, and he also named four players who he thinks are Grand Slam contenders.

For next year, the question is still the same: will Sinner and Alcaraz dominate again? They’re young, they’re still hungry, and right now, I struggle to see anyone who can change this scenario. I hope Sascha Zverev can win at least one Grand Slam before the end of his career. He has the talent to do it. Then we’ll have to wait for the next generation. I’m thinking of guys like Joao Fonseca, an Italian like Lorenzo Musetti, Jack Draper if he’s healthy, and Ben Shelton.

Sinner this year took home six titles from 10 finals, the second-most, following Alcaraz, the winner of eight titles from 11 finals. The 24-year-old made some changes to his game since his defeat to Alcaraz at the US Open, and since then, he claimed the China Open, Vienna Open, Paris Masters, and the ATP Finals.

Sinner clashed with Alcaraz on six occasions this year, all in the final. Their first encounter was at the Italian Open, also Sinner’s tournament since his three-month doping ban. Sinner lost the match and suffered defeats when they met at the French Open, Cincinnati Masters, and the US Open, winning at Wimbledon and the ATP Finals.
