World No.1 Jannik Sinner is on top of the tennis world at the moment. The Italian won his second Australian Open title and third Grand Slam title overall at Rod Laver Arena last month.
Now, his country, Italy, seems to be rewarding him with the best possible tributes. Recently, the World No.1 was honored with a special snow sculpture to celebrate his historic triumph down under.
Italy has produced many elite athletes, such as Gianluigi Buffon, Andrea Pirlo, and several footballers. However, Sinner appears to be the first Italian athlete outside the football world to receive this level of attention.

Initially, Italy relied mainly on Matteo Berrettini for major tennis success, and he was outstanding, reaching the Wimbledon final in 2021. However, Sinner has reached another level in recent years and does not seem to be slowing down anytime soon.
