For months, there were rumors about Jannik Sinner splitting from WTA star girlfriend Anna Kalinskaya, but they now appear to be confirmed after the Italian has recently been reported to be in a relationship with Russian model Lara Leito. This comes just as the World No.1 is set to return from his three-month suspension.

Sinner had begun dating Kalinskaya in 2024 and the relationship was kept secret until March, when both players were spotted in attendance at their matches to support each other. But the relationship was rumored to have ended in October last year. Recently, the 23-year-old was spotted with Leito in Monte Carlo, where he has been training ahead of his return to tour.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Sinner and Leito are now dating. Also, Chi Magazine photographed the pair walking together at the Monte Carlo Country Club. The reporting appears to remove all doubt the two are in a relationship. In fact, the Russian model posted multiplayer pictures on her Instagram account of her watching players like Carlos Alcaraz and Lorenzo Musetti play during the Monte Carlo Masters.

Nonetheless, Sinner is set to return to the court on May 4 after serving his suspension for doping. The Italian twice tested positive for clostebol in March last year. He was exonerated from the doping charges but the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) appealed the case to the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS).

But, the case was withdrawn in February after the agency reached an agreement with Sinner’s representatives that the US Open champion serve a three-month suspension. He’s set to make his first appearance after his ban at the Italian Open and then feature at the Hamburg Open before the French Open.

Who is Jannik Sinner’s reported girlfriend?

Jannik Sinner’s reported girlfriend, Lara Leito, was born in January 1994 in Russia. The 31-year-old is best known for her modeling career and has modeled for prestigious magazines such as Vogue and L’Official and has become a major figure in red-carpet events in recent years.

However, Leito has pursued a range of other careers before venturing into her modeling career. The Russian attended the University of Berkeley in California where she specialized in marketing and communications, graduating with a degree in Business Administration. She has often appeared at the Cannes Film Festival, but this is due to her former relationship with Oscar winner Adrien Brody.

Leito and Brody were reportedly dating from 2012 to 2018. The pair first met at the aforementioned iconic film festival and often were together during public appearances. Brody is currently dating Georgina Chapman, an actress and co-founder of the fashion label Marchesa. They began dating in 2019.

For me, it’s an honor to support children and young athletes. Sports have taught me invaluable lessons: discipline, resilience, and the courage to stay true to myself—lessons that I believe are worth sharing. Through our work, we want to show kids what’s possible, not just in sports but in life.
