While Linda Noskova clinched her career’s first Grand Slam title at Wimbledon by overcoming countrywoman Karolina Muchova, Jannik Sinner defended his crown by battling past Alexander Zverev. Noskova has become the third Czech woman in four years to win the title at the All England Club after Marketa Vondrousova in 2023 and Barbora Krejcikova in 2024.
Sinner has become the 10th man in the Open Era to defend this title and the first one since Carlos Alcaraz (2023 and 2024) to do so. Following their wins, Noskova and Sinner enjoyed their time at Wimbledon’s traditional Champions’ Dinner.
Sinner, dressed in a formal black suit, while Noskova, dressed in an elegant black dress, danced to the tunes of Justin Timberlake‘s Can’t Stop the Feeling song. Sinner also twirled Noskova as they danced.
LA TRADITION 😂

While Noskova attended the ball for the first time, the experience was nothing new for the now five-time Grand Slam champion. Last year, after his four-set triumph over Alcaraz in the final at SW19, he and Iga Swiatek danced together. The six-time Grand Slam champion had double-bageled Amanda Anisimova in the final last year but suffered a third-round defeat at the hands of Alexandra Eala this time.
Because Swiatek failed to defend the title, Noskova became the 10th different player since Serena Williams‘ title defense in 2016 to emerge victorious in the grass-court Major. Noskova had made just one Grand Slam quarterfinal appearance before this Wimbledon (at the 2024 Australian Open).
She lifted her second title of the season in the event. Before arriving in London, the 21-year-old defeated Jessica Pegula in the Berlin Open final, winning her career’s first title on grass.
Jannik Sinner faced just one break point during the final against Alexander Zverev
Jannik Sinner converted two of the five break points during his match against Alexander Zverev at the Wimbledon final. But Sascha earned just one break point throughout the match, and that too, he failed to convert. Sinner, who smashed 15 aces to Zverev’s 17, was asked at the press conference how he managed to stay so focused during the match.

I don’t know (smiling). It’s just staying in the moment, to be honest. If you lose serve once, the set is over, most likely. Especially playing against Sascha. Against the best players in the world, you need to be very careful on your own service games. I have improved throughout the whole tournament. If you see the performance from the first two, three matches, then how I ended the tournament, it has been always growing. That’s exactly what I needed.
Jannik Sinner said at the press conference
The 24-year-old, in fact, served 129 aces throughout the tournament, the most on the men’s side. During his five-set thriller against Miomir Kecmanovic in the first round, the World No.1 served 31 aces.
I was looking for this improvement, a player improvement, from my side. We made it happen. Of course, mentally, you need to make the switch as well to be able to do so. But I’m very happy with how I handled the situation, especially this year. Yeah, now it’s time to enjoy.
Jannik Sinner added
It was Sinner’s sixth title of the season. He is also the eighth player in the Open Era to win in the London Major without competing in a warm-up event on grass.
Before Wimbledon, Sinner suffered a shock second-round upset at the hands of Juan Manuel Cerundolo at the French Open. And this ended his winning streak of 30 matches, as Sinner, before arriving in Paris, won the first five Masters 1000s of the season, with his win in the Italian capital making him the second player after Novak Djokovic to complete the Career Golden Masters.
