Jannik Sinner has launched a YouTube Channel where he has so far shared four vlogs, which include the time he spent in Melbourne and London for the two Grand Slam events. After his Wimbledon win, Sinner delayed his return by skipping the first Masters 1000 of the North American hard-court swing, the Canadian Open.
He has already arrived in Cincinnati, where the second Masters 1000 tournament will kick-start on August 7. In the pre-tournament press conference, Sinner reiterated that the reason behind starting his YouTube channel is to show people his off-court personality.
It is because people know us only as tennis players that they don’t really know how we live. And I believe every player is different in how we live in sport, and in this case, in tennis. And people know me as [serious on court], but it’s actually not like this.
Well, his fans are demanding more of his cooking videos. In two of his Wimbledon vlogs, Sinner winds up his day by cooking pasta (and also received praise from his coach Simone Vagnozzi). He has now promised to publish more videos from the time he spent on the sidelines due to his doping ban.
I like to surround myself with good people and enjoy my time. With my family too at Wimbledon, it was nice. We’re going to put out some different kinds of videos of what we made in the three months when I couldn’t play any tournaments. So hopefully people enjoy, and hopefully people get to know me better as a person.

In Cincinnati, Sinner will start his bid for his second title in a row against the winner between Vit Kopriva and a qualifier. Last year, he lifted the title by denying Frances Tiafoe the win in front of his home crowd. The 23-year-old then ended the US Open not before beating Taylor Fritz and lifting the title.
Jannik Sinner’s Cincinnati Masters draw
Jannik Sinner, after Vit Kopriva or a qualifier, could face Sebastian Baez, David Goffin, or Gabriel Diallo in the third round. In the fourth round, he could run into Tomas Machac or home favorite Tommy Paul.

His compatriot Lorenzo Musetti could schedule a clash with him in the quarterfinals. Three-time Grand Slam finalist Casper Ruud is another player Sinner could meet in the last eight.
In the semifinals, Holger Rune or Taylor Fritz could be his opponents. If he reaches the final and Carlos Alcaraz secures a spot, then the two rivals will face each other for the fourth time this season following their meetings at the Italian Open, French Open, and Wimbledon.
The Spaniard was the runner-up in 2023, losing that final to 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic, who, just like last year, has decided to skip the tournament. Alcaraz holds an 8-5 lead in the head-to-head matchups over the World No.1.
In Cincinnati, the 23-year-old will be bidding to win his third title of the season. The previous two trophies he lifted at the Australian Open by breezing past Alexander Zverev and at Wimbledon by avenging his French Open upset with a four-set win over Alcaraz. Wimbledon was Sinner’s second grass-court title following his victory at the 2024 Halle Open.
Apart from these aforementioned tournaments, Sinner also participated in the Halle Open, but he failed to defend his title. Eventual winner Alexander Bublik knocked him out in the second round. It was the first tournament since last year’s Canadian Open where the four-time Grand Slam champion failed to book a spot in the final. Sinner has so far reached seven Masters 1000 finals and lifted the trophy four times.
