Japanese PUBG Mobile Pro “RC Divine” got suspended from PMJL Phase 2

Team Reject’s PUBG Mobile Player ‘Devine’ has been suspended from participation in PMJL Phase 2 for drinking alcohol with a minor woman. The player has been restrained from doing any future activities for the time being.

The organisation of Reject has released a statement regarding the issue, and they apologize for the inconvenience caused by the player. In their statement, it has been found that Divine, aka Kouiki Sekikawa, is of the age of 19 years when he was caught drinking with a minor woman. The incident nor their statement has not shed much light on what happened, but the minimum legal age of drinking in Japan is 20.

The players have been penalized for violating the prohibited acts of Japan. Subsequently, the player got suspended from participation in PMJL Phase 2 and the team has been charged 1 million yen (~9108 USD) for violating the rules.

PUBG MObile: Team Rejects player Divine has been penalized for violating the rules

Shoya Koyama, the representative director of REJECT Inc., has addressed the issue and says they are considering the incident seriously. He stated:

"This matter is due to the lack of supervision of our company, and we apologize for the inconvenience and concern to all the people who are indebted to us and the fans who support us. We deeply apologize for what you have done."

The official mentions that the player is being refrained from doing any further activities under the org for the time being. He also promises that they will ensure all players and employees become aware of such incidents and not let any such incidents from happening again. It has not been revealed that how long Divine suspension would last.

As reported by Gametube, Team Reject has won the PMJL Phase one by securing the ultimate lion’s share of the prize pool of ¥14,830,000 ( $135,621). The second phase of PMJL will commence in September.
