Longtime WWE prop-creator details how Drew McIntyre’s WrestleMania XL gear was arranged after it got misplaced hours before his match
The Scottish Warrior's attire went astray before WrestleMania.

Drew McIntyre would want to let go of what transpired on WrestleMania Sunday. However, it could’ve been worse. For the unversed, The Scottish Warrior’s gear was lost on Saturday by the United Parcel Service, UPS. It then took an all-nighter for longtime WWE prop creator Jason Baker‘s wife, Mandy, to weave what McIntyre wore to the ring in his match against Seth Rollins.
Baker’s better half stayed up till 6 a.m. to make sure Drew McIntyre‘s ‘Mania prop was in place well before WrestleMania night 2 got underway. One would assume that the Scot was in some predicament ahead of the most pivotal night of his career. Had it not been for Mandy Baker‘s arduous commitment, he would’ve been relegated to a makeshift raiment.
Despite being in hot waters, The Savior of WrestleMania didn’t pass off an opportunity to aim a dig at CM Punk. Drew asked Punk whether the latter could let him lend his trunks for WrestleMania. That’s simply because The Best in the World didn’t make it to The Showcase of the Immortals, thanks to McIntyre. During the Mania-week festivities at WWE World, the Scottish wrestler affirmed that if he couldn’t beat Seth Rollins at WrestleMania, he would quit WWE.
His gear was legit lost. Not a work. You suck @UPS. My phenomenal wife @SandyMimpson left #WrestleMania40 night one during the show, stayed up until 6am, and had replacement gear ready for @DMcIntyreWWE before the start of Night 2. She’s an absolute legend! #proudhusbandJason Baker on how Drew McIntyre’s WrestleMania gear was arranged
Technically, he did get past The Visionary, ousting him in a 10-minute barn-burner. However, his post-match shenanigans with Punk, who was on commentary, took Drew nowhere. After The Second City Saint had enough of McIntyre’s bickering, he laid out the latter, rendering him vulnerable. Damian Priest seized the golden opportunity to cash in his MITB contract and beat the self-proclaimed DM Hunk for the World Heavyweight title. What a nightmare it was for The Chosen One!
CM Punk cost Drew McIntyre yet again on this week’s Raw
This week on Raw, Drew McIntyre was in some mood. Before he competed in the main event, the 38-year-old cut a resounding promo. He adjudged Damian Priest as a “Bondage Undertaker” after what he did this past weekend in Philadelphia.
Then, the former WWE Champion locked horns with Jey Uso, Ricochet, and “Big” Bronson Reed in a Fatal-4-Way to determine who’s next in line for a crack at the World Heavyweight Championship. McIntyre was about to get the job done, but he was thwarted by CM Punk.
He snuck in from nowhere and grabbed Drew’s foot when he was about to hit a Claymore kick on Jey. As a result, The Yeet Master capitalized and pinned the 275-pounder. After costing the latter once again, The Voice of the Voiceless vibed with Uso’s shtick atop the commentary desk.
