The former NFL center was filled with nostalgia as he described how overwhelming it felt to step onto the biggest stage in professional football. Jason Kelce discusses his dual allegiance in upcoming Super Bowl
In February 2023, when Jason faced off against his brother Travis at the Super Bowl, his allegiance was towards Philly. But now as the two teams once again face off at the grand level, the ESPN analyst revealed where his loyalties lie.
“You’re my brother. I’ll always root for my brother. That’s the reality of it,” Jason told his brother on the New Heights podcast, wearing the Eagles cap and t-shirt. “Even though I’m decked out in Eagles gear, I’m always rooting for Travis.”
Just because he’s rooting for the Chiefs doesn’t mean he wishes for the Eagles’ downfall. Jason clarified that regardless of how the game unfolds, he will be happy because he supports both teams equally and does not want either to lose. However, the reality is that one team will inevitably face defeat, a thought he prefers not to dwell on.
