Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce called time on his playing career post the 2023 NFL season. Kelce had been thinking about retirement for the last couple of seasons, and the only person who kept track of everything was his wife, Kylie Kelce.

She waited until the Super Bowl-winning center announced his retirement and then surprised him with a special gift. On Monday, Kylie shared a glimpse of the present, a wooden replica of Lincoln Financial Field, home of the Philadelphia Eagles.

The structure is placed on a wooden frame, which can be hung on the wall. It contains Jason Kelce’s name, his jersey number, and an Eagles keychain.

The piece is the handy work of designer Dana Theobald. On Monday, Kylie, who is the mother of three beautiful daughters, wrote a message on her Instagram Storyboard attached to Theobald.

She came up with this beautiful custom design and then waited for me to give the retirement green light and [Jason Kelce's] final list of accolades.

Theobald’s website provided details about how she creates these works of art. First, she studies the stadiums using Google Earth. Then, with the help of the latest laser cutting technology, she can rearrange mini wood pieces drafted in her computer from scratch.

Jason Kelce is expanding his media presence after retirement from football

In most cases, a football player’s transition from the sport to retirement does not go smoothly. However, for Jason Kelce, things may be slightly different. The 36-year-old already diversified his interests even before the 2023 season began.

He could easily be the next big analyst hire from a major network. As a matter of fact, both ESPN and FOX are working their best to sign Kelce. He met with the representatives of both parties during Super Bowl week in Las Vegas. ESPN reportedly favors the University of Cincinnati graduate over eight-time Super Bowl winner Bill Belichick.

There are even rumors that one of the networks may even buy the rights to his ‘New Heights’ podcast with his younger brother and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. Previously, ESPN welcomed Pat McAfee and his popular YouTube channel, The Pat McAfee Show, and made the former NFL punter one of the highest-paid sports analysts/announcers in sports.

Furthermore, if Jason Kelce wants to try something different, he should give wrestling a try. He, along with Eagles Lane Johnson, became the spectacle last month when WWE WrestleMania arrived in Philadelphia. It will not surprise anyone.

Kelce announced his retirement in March after playing 13 seasons for the Eagles. He is the only center to win a Super Bowl along with six All-Pro titles since the 1970 merger.
