During the last minute of the first quarter, Jason Kidd gave one of the most joyous of laughing by complementing the sneakers of LeBron James in hilarious fashion. The Dallas Mavericks stopped midway whilst complaining to the referee, just to make the 37-year-old LA Lakers superstar aware about his choices.
This being a record-breaking 17th appearance for LeBron James, Kidd just gave him an entirely different reason to dawn a smile. The former Lakers coaching staff member was pointing out how a ‘travel’ call made prior wasn’t as per the standards set in the NBA, and even indicated how Lebron always travels as per the same norms. But that wasn’t all-
“That’s for college to call travel. This is the NBA. (LeBron) right here travels too. Those are nice shoes by the way,” Kidd exclaimed in the video.

Jason Kidd’ Mavs hand 4th straight loss to LeBron James, Lakers
After a disappointing and frustrating 2-10 start, the Lakers were just a couple of wins away from securing a .500 win-tally, courtesy to Anthony Davis averaging more than 30 points per game in the spam. However, after the 29-year-old was ruled out indefinity, the purple and gold find themselves in hot water once again.
Lakers had a 11-point lead going into halftime, with LeBron James leading the scoreboards with game-high score. However, as both the team came out, Darvin Ham’s team looked baffled on either ends as Luka Doncic-led Mavs dropped 51 points on the 2020 NBA Champs.
Which was also the highest scoring quarter ever on Christmas Day in league’s history.
As a result of which the home team thumped their opponents to register their 18th win of the season, moving closer to the playoffs berth. On the other hand, Lakers registered their 4th straight loss, starting their 5-game journey on the road.
