The league is on hold per se while awaiting the training camp, as the offseason program, draft, and free agency are behind us. However, the Dallas Cowboys in the midst of a controversy remains as fresh as the beginning of the offseason.
The team is once again in the headlines but for all the wrong reasons– far-fetched being relatable to their training camp or preseason. Reason being safety Malik Hooker and running back Micah Parsons have an ongoing beef, attracting quite the negative limelight.
For context: Hooker in his recent appearance on the All Facts No Brake podcast criticized his teammate by questioning his priority in the active season. He asserted even though the running game had been going terribly, Parsons didn’t miss recording his podcast every week. As expected, the star LB didn’t like it and told Hooker that he could have said that to him personally and not on a podcast publically.
Jason McIntyre rips the Cowboys as a dysfunctional team
As the matter reached the attention of Jason McIntyre, he didn’t hold back from expressing his opinion on the whole thing, claiming their good old days are over now during the recent episode of Herd w/ Colin Cowherd.
This team [Cowboys] is disintegrating as we watch it week by week this offseason.Jason McIntyre said
Why did veteran safety Hooker didn’t say it directly to Parsons because, given his sincerity, he had all the right to do it?
Back in April as you guys remember, a Dallas Cowboys radio host pointed out that four different sources in the locker had said they were fed up with Micah Parsons.Jason McIntyre added, hinting Hooker must be one of them.
He further agreed with the analysis of Hooker, saying as much as Parsons might be good in the regular season, he ends up being a no-show for the Cowboys in the postseason. By highlighting Parsons’ prominence in the league, McIntyre reasoned it to why Hooker didn’t tell him personally. And maybe, he might be speaking on the behalf of the entire locker room.
