The Boston Celtics defeated the Indiana Pacers in game 2 of the Eastern Conference Playoff Finals, stretching their lead 2-0 in the ongoing series. Notably, Jaylen Brown of the Celtics has been garnering all the praise for his match-winning performance against the Pacers at the TD Garden. However, Brown feels that he has not been praised enough for his quality in the sport.

After the game, Brown claimed that he had watched guys who were half-talented than him getting praised more in the NBA. He also claimed that he seemed unfazed by all this and was focused on his side claiming the wins in the NBA playoffs.

I watch guys get praised and anointed who I feel are half as talented as me on either side of the ball. But at this point in my life, I just embrace it. It comes with being who I am and what I stand for, and I ain’t changing that.

The Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown has been making the headlines lately for his clutch performances in the Eastern Conference Playoff Finals against the Indiana Pacers. In Game 1, Brown hit a three-pointer with 5.7 seconds left in regulation, forcing overtime, which his Celtics eventually won. Furthermore, in game 2, his hard work paid off when he turned a 5-point deficit in the first quarter into a 15-point lead.

In addition, Brown was very vocal regarding his opposition, the Indiana Pacers’ performance against the Celtics in game 2.
