Jayson Tatum ran a wild 3-pointer spree and knocked down 34 points as the Boston Celtics edge past Los Angeles Clippers. While Tatum carried Celtics’ on his back, the win would have not come in the grip of the Celtics’ if it wasn’t for Kemba Walker.LA Clippers were leading by 1-point when 46 seconds remained on the clock. But Celtics knew how to win it in the most unorthodox style. By knocking 6 straight free-throws to get the win.
The LA Clippers lost just their 3rd home away after this loss. Lou Williams made the last 7 points for the team including a clutch 3-pointer. But it wasn’t to be their night. Kawhi Leonard had 28 points and 11 rebounds for the Clippers but missed all five of his 3-point attempts. The team was 14 of 32 from long range. Williams finished with 18 points off the bench.

Boston made five straight free throws to go back in front by three. Lou Williams scored four in a row to put the Clippers ahead by one, but they crumbled in the closing seconds. Leonard turned the ball over, Walker stole it and scored.
“That was definitely a confidence-builder,” Walker said, whos cored 24 points for the Celtics. “We started off slow, but we stuck together throughout the whole game. Energy was great, communication was great, our togetherness was on a whole other level.”
“Sometimes other teams just play better than you and in that stretch I thought that’s what they did,” Lou Williams said.
