Jaylen Brown, the NBA Finals MVP, was overlooked by Team USA for the Paris Olympics, sparking speculation about his relationship with teammate Jayson Tatum. Despite Kawhi Leonard’s withdrawal, Brown was not selected, and instead, Derrick White, his Celtics teammate, was chosen. 

Skip Bayless alleged on “Undisputed” that JT might have influenced the decision, suggesting that Tatum wanted a break from Brown. Brown had posted a cryptic social media post where he suggested he was interested in joining Team USA, leading to theories about the reason behind his snub.

Jayson Tatum was put on the spot when asked about Jaylen Brown’s omission from the Team USA squad for the 2024 Paris Olympics. Tatum struggled to give a clear answer, seemingly caught off guard by the question. 

He however, acknowledged that there are many talented players who could have taken the last spot on the team, but failed to directly address Brown’s snub or whether he had spoken to his Celtics teammate about the issue.
