Jayson Tatum has contributed to the All-Star with Shaquille O’Neal’s “OGs” joined by several future Hall of Famers. While the tournament begins on Sunday, the entire NBA has found themselves engaging in the festivities throughout the weekend. The Boston Celtics star was also accompanied by his son Deuce, 7 who has won over the entire internet.
Jayson Tatum was present at the All-Star practice at Oakland Arena, mostly supervising his son who was content with the NBA star’s teammates. Social media is filled with pictures and clips of Deuce at various corners of the event mingling with different people.
In one of the clips, he is spotted embracing WNBA star A’ja Wilson, whom he shares an affectionate bond with. At previous meetings, the two have also shown the followers their special handshake. In other pictures uploaded by the Boston Celtics‘ official handle, Deuce is hanging out with Jaylen Brown, Kevin Durant, and more.
For some of the events, Deuce wore Jayson Tatum’s oversized Celtics jersey with the number zero on it. In one of the most viral clips, the 7-year-old is spotted trying to outshoot Kevin Durant. Social media has spammed platform X with sightings of young Tatum at the All-Star events. Notably, he was also present with the power forward for his first All-Star selection back in 2020. Suffice it to say, this is not the first time Deuce has found admiration on the internet.

Deuce has often made headlines for accompanying his dad to NBA games, if not he makes sure to watch it from his couch. Jayson Tatum shares his son with ex-girlfriend Toriah Lachell whom he met in high school. He was born shortly after Tatum was drafted into the NBA. Much like his dad, Deuce also shares an affinity for basketball already making waves in his school.

Jayson Tatum’s son Deuce has attended every All-Star events with him ever since the former made his debut. However, only this time has the 7-year-old grown enough to remember all the moments with his father. That has served as further motivation for the 26-year-old to look forward to these events.
At the All-Star media day, Tatum shed some light on his son being present at the game with him. While the events are always terrific, he reflected on how this year was going to be even more for Deuce. Furthermore, he shared that his son looked forward to the weekend this time around.
We’re just at that point in his life where we’re starting to enjoy basketball and fall in love with it and these moments are about you but they’re about your family and friends and the memories you can create.

With Deuce also invested in basketball, Tatum longed to make memories with his family. That said, the internet quips they will be the next father-son duo to make history hitting the court together. While that is a far-fetched notion, for now, Jayson Tatum will continue the transitioning period of his career.
