The 26-year-old claimed that his grandmother is a Dodgers fan. This means that she will see her grandson play against her team.

It means everything. I’m playing against my grandma’s favorite team. She wished I was playing for the Dodgers, but hey, it all works out. She gets to see her favorite team in the World Series, too.

Apart from this, the Yankees infielder also spoke highly about his manager Aaron Boone. In the interview, Chisholm Jr. claimed he “can’t talk better” about Boone.

Oh, it’s been great. It’s been great playing for Boone, man. He’s a great manager. He’s here for the players. He’s here for the group of guys that’s going out there and that’s in the clubhouse and his staff. I can’t talk better about Aaron Boone.

After finishing with a record of 82-80 in the 2023 season, several fans called for the sacking of Boone. However, the Yankees board decided to support him and allowed him to continue to manage the team in 2024.

Boone along with his star-studded squad will now be aiming to bring home the Yankees’ 28th World Series title and end their 15-year drought. The first game of this series will be played on Friday, 25th October.
