Jeff Jarrett involved with the WWE India project
WWE is launching their India special project on 26th January, 2021. India is one of the biggest markets for WWE. The WWE “India Special” show will air on the local network and WWE Network.
WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarret has been closely involved with the project. Jarrett has been given the responsibility of searching for native-born Indian WWE stars. He is familiar with the country as he spearheaded TNA’s “Ring ka King” project in India.
WWE’s India Special
The India special show of NXT will be featuring the Indian wrestlers. Former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal is likely to be one of the biggest star on the show. He has been missing from the main roster due to an injury.
Other WWE trainees like – Shanky Singh, Indus Sher and Jeet Rama are likely to appear on the show too. The pilot episode is likely to be taped on 22nd January. The show will be shot at WWE’s Performance Center.
India is one the first countries to get its own WWE show after UK. There are also palns to host a series of shows in Asia. These shows will feature talent from Singapore, China and Japan.
