“We feel great about what we’ve been in free agency!” Despite getting heavily trolled, Jerry Jones once again claims Cowboys are ‘all in’ for the season
The Cowboys have failed to make any major waves in free agency.

The Dallas Cowboys have had the most disappointing free agency so far. The team has failed to make a mark or attempt to land big names despite having noticeable voids that need to be filled on their roster. The team has lost key players at running back and on linebacker. The Cowboys continue to wait for the draft to bring aboard and develop new players.
Owner Jerry Jones, who had previously claimed the team will be going “all-in” this off-season in order to ensure the team comes back stronger, has failed to back his claims up. Jones’ statement had initially given fans the hope that the Dallas Cowboys would do things differently this free agency. The hope was the team would adopt an aggressive approach while pursuing key free agents, but that did not happen.
Jerry Jones, however, does not see things that way. He is perfectly happy about the team’s free agency so far.
We're very proud of this roster. We feel very, very good about the promise of this roster this season... We feel great about what we've been in free agency. We're all in.Jerry Jones said as per John Machota of The Athletic
Jones has doubled down on his previous statements. It is to be seen if these ‘words’ do reflect in their upcoming decisions.
The Dallas Cowboys failed to capitalize on the free agents available in the free agency market this season
While Jones continues to be optimistic about the team’s free agency moves that have so far involved signing linebacker Eric Kendricks and Royce Freeman to one-year deals. Except that, the team has focused on re-signing most of its existing players. Despite their best efforts, Dak Prescott continues to wait for an extension. The team is yet to offer substantial contracts to its stars.
Jones believes the team will succeed this season. It will be interesting to see how the team fares in this year’s draft. For the longest time, the Cowboys’ strategy while bringing players aboard has been to draft and develop talent from scratch. To their credit, the team has been successful at it.

However, a large criticism of the team stems from the fact that the Cowboys had the option to replace Tony Pollard with a better RB in the offseason. With options such as Saquon Barkley, Josh Jacobs, and Derrick Henry available, the Cowboys failed to take adequate steps to bring them on board. Can the Cowboys make the much-awaited splash in the draft or will it be the same old story with the team? Considering the draft is just a few hours away, there’s just one way to find out.
