Roman Reigns finally returned to WWE at SummerSlam. The Head of the Table took out Solo Sikoa, helping Cody Rhodes retain the Undisputed Championship. For the first time in nearly a decade, Reigns has been garnering the babyface crowd reactions WWE had yearned for so long. With The Bloodline saga taking a massive turn, one of the faction’s former members, Jey Uso, spoke about his cousin’s return.
Speaking with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Uso heaped praise on The Tribal Chief. The former Tag Team Champion called Reigns the greatest of all time. Moreover, Jey revealed that he still looks up to the 39-year-old despite their differences. In 2020, Uso briefly feuded with Reigns for the Universal Championship before joining forces with him. Months later, Jimmy Uso allied with his brothers as The Bloodline storyline took shape.
Fast forward three years later, and Jey has found his individual success after leaving his family on SmackDown. Meanwhile, Reigns is currently involved in a rivalry with Sikoa, who usurped the throne of Tribal Chief in his absence. Facing a numerical disadvantage, the former Undisputed Champion will need backup. And who better than the original members, The Usos?

On Raw, Jey Uso has been teaming up with Sami Zayn, teasing a potential Bloodline reunion in the near future. Meanwhile, Jimmy is rumored to return soon. The 38-year-old last appeared on the SmackDown episode after WrestleMania, where Sikoa kicked him out of the faction and introduced Tama Tonga as the newest addition.
When will Jey Uso reunite with Roman Reigns?
Although Jey Uso re-joining The Bloodline saga feels like an inevitability, the question remains as to when. At the moment, Roman Reigns is dealing with a four-on-one handicap situation against Solo Sikoa’s version of the faction.
On the latest episode of SmackDown, Reigns dealt with three of them with ease. However, the absence of Jacob Fatu might’ve affected that. Once the Samoan Werewolf returns, things will surely get difficult for The Tribal Chief. In the coming weeks, fans might see the latter facing a brutal beatdown at the hands of The Bloodline.
This will slowly build to a WarGames match at Survivor Series. Therefore, Reigns will have to assemble his team before the event. Having said that, Jey will be back in the fold once The Head of the Table apologizes for his actions and both men set aside their differences soon.
