It was a shocking turn of events when Solo Sikoa seemingly took charge of the Bloodline. A few weeks ago, it all went down when, unexpectedly, Sikoa took out Jimmy Uso from the faction. He has been operating as a Tribal Chief since then. Now, a former member of the Bloodline, Jey Uso, has shared his remark over the recent turn of events.
Speaking on the Gorilla Position, Jey Uso said that for him, Roman Reigns is always going to be his Tribal Chief. Although he didn’t take anything away from Solo Sikoa, as he called him a heavy hitter. However, he acknowledged the Head of the Table for making the whole thing possible and relevant. Main Event Jey said people are enjoying the clout because of the Needle Mover.
For me, Roman Reigns will always be my Tribal Chief. I learned from him, you know. He’s the one who brought us to the promised land. Now, you know, snakes wanna step up.Jey Uso on Gorilla Position
The former Undisputed Tag Team Champion has paid his respect to the Tribal Chief. However, he was also glad to be away from the family drama on SmackDown. Besides, he also pointed out the possibility of joining his cousin and the Bloodline soon when the Needle Mover returns.
With everything going on with the Bloodline, it seems like the Tribal Heir has kicked off a rebellion against the former Undisputed Champion. He has also added Tama Tonga to the faction and has been working to assert dominance on SmackDown. Last week, they brutally attacked Kevin Owens to send a message to the WWE universe.
Jey Uso shared his views on his match against Jimmy Uso at WrestleMania XL
Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso went toe-to-toe at WrestleMania. What felt like a dream match for many was not even close to any other match on the card. It was a lackluster match with no interest from the crowd. As such, it received heavy backlash from the fans. Main Event Jey finally reflected on this by revealing behind-the-scenes reasons for it falling short.
In his interview with the Gorilla Position, Jey revealed that the time issue led to the match being so boring. He stated that he wanted to have a banger at WrestleMania. However, it was not on the cards for him and his brother. Still, he said he is quite happy to have a singles match with Jimmy, which he always wanted to have.
I just said this to someone. I kinda felt like we did let the people down. [Really, you feel that?] Yeah, man, cuz I wanted to go out there and have a straight up banger too. I wanted to do the wrestling part but let alone make sure the emotion part is there. It was just a time issue.Jey Uso on Gorilla Position
Moreover, Uso said that he was going to frame a picture of the match to remind himself of the iconic feat. However, he expressed disappointment at not being able to create a memorable performance. Besides, the brothers went their different ways after WrestleMania XL, and it seems another singles match is not on the scene for long.
