Many consider the 2022 version of the Bloodline with Sami Zayn, as well as Jimmy and Jey Uso, to be the best iteration of the faction. They were dominant champions who told a compelling story, alongside putting on great comedic segments such as the ‘Ucey’ promo.
Speaking to Metro, Uso revealed what was going on in the minds of the superstars during that segment. While he thought that it was one of the coolest and funniest segments on WWE TV, it was also the most embarrassing for him as he could not control his laughter in front of the cameras.
Uso revealed that the OTC made matters even worse for him. Roman Reigns was trying to provoke him into breaking his character on TV and laughing out loud. In response, the 10x Tag Team Champion turned away from the camera and let out his laughter off the screen.
There was a couple of times I just had to turn away from the camera, like I had to because I just had a big smile, man. If you really look at it, Roman was trying to poke at me, to crack me more.

The 39-year-old recalled how the segment started with Zayn’s promo and eventually shifted to a much lighter note. He claimed that it could never be replicated again.
This segment is considered one of the best WWE segments of the past few years. Zayn received a lot of praise from backstage officials, other superstars, and wrestling veterans. The segment highly amused fans and is always brought up when discussing The Bloodline’s best moments.
Jey Uso expresses his desire to form a tag team with Sami Zayn
During the same interview, Jey Uso said that being a part of the Bloodline alongside Sami Zayn was one of the best times in his career. The Underdog from the Underground was pivotal for the Intercontinental Champion’s career growth.

While they hated each other on screen, they had a lot of fondness for each other behind the scenes. Jey Uso said that he wanted to work more with Zayn. While there were glimpses of them getting together on Raw now and then, he wanted to form a full-blown tag team with the former NXT champion.
Since Uso broke away as a singles superstar and shifted to Raw, he has had many wholesome interactions with Zayn. The two even teased a reunion on the red brand, but it seemed to go nowhere. However, there is a chance that fans will get to witness these two partner up if they re-unite the original Bloodline for Survivor Series: War Games.
